Correspondence, genealogy notes, obituaries, and other personal papers of the Hill-Kirkland family. Included is a volume of bound letters (box 2) dating from the 1790s to the 1830s. Also present is a bound volume of family genealogy. A portion of the correspondence is from the Sanborn and Stansbury families, as well as Caroline Kirkland, author of Chicago Yesterdays: A Sheaf of Reminiscences.
